Although the cherry blossoms were not out at this point, the magnolia trees were looking beautiful.
The Air and Space Museum has a fun kid-friendly exhibit. It was a busy day so we did not do everything, but here is Peter in the cockpit of an airplane.
When we went back into the city, the cherry trees were in full bloom. Peter did not want to pose or say "eee" for any pictures.
After enjoying the cherry blossoms, we went to Arlington Cemetery. We were able to see the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldiers. This was the last day for one of the soldiers standing guard so he did an additional ceremony.
Peter thought the Indian on Matt's had was cool so we let him hold the hat in the car. Peter put it on like this, we noticed when we heard little giggles in the back seat. I had to get a picture of that grin.
