In April, we moved into our own apartment. We never got internet in that apartment. The kitchen had some awesome linoleum, and as you can see, Peter loves bananas.
Peter loves to be outside.
In May, Mothers day was sweet.
My sister Kristen's birthday was great. I got to make her cake.
June was Peter and Matt's Birthdays. Peter's first birthday was spent outside at the zoo, with cake and presents.
Matt and Peter share their birthday so they were able to help each other open gifts.
We had a family camp-out with Matt's aunts, uncles, and cousins. Peter did really well with the whole experience. He loves being outside, and slept well in the tent.
July Matt found out that his employment in Pocatello would end.
My brother was married in August. We enjoyed Playing at Brooklyn's Playground. Peter enjoyed hot summer days with cold popsicles and creamys.
September ended with Matt's departure to his new job in Washington D.C. so we had a good-bye party with his family at Cafe Rio. Peter and I joined him November 1st.
Matt stayed in the D.C. Area all of October. While he was gone, Pocatello was still warm enough for Peter to play outside in the fall leaves.
In the last week of October, my wonderful parents drove our moving truck out to Maryland. They arrived 1 day before Hurricane Sandy hit. Peter and I were supposed to join them that day, but our flight was canceled and were not able to join them for 4 days.
They made great use of their time though. They unpacked the majority of our boxes (thank you!) and went to some of the sites that D.C. has to offer. Above is Matt at the national Cathedral. Below is my parents at Georgetown Cupcakes.Peter and I finally got there. We had a day and a half to site-see with my parents before they flew home.
Peter has always been a good eater. Here he is eating asparagus. (I am mainly posting this as proof that he likes greens. So I can show him when he is 5 and does not like vegetables at all)
We went to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving. My childhood friend Heidi and her family live there. It was good to be with friends for the holiday.
Heidi took some family pictures.
We have enjoyed the fall colors in this beautiful and busy part of the country.
That brings us up to the present. Leave a comment if you want more detail on anything that you think I didn't cover or you want to know more about.
