Yesterday was one of the hardest days we've had for a few months. I keep hearing that after babies turn 3 months things get so much better. Well my baby is just shy of 3 months old and yesterday made me wonder if things are getting worse instead of better. Despite the long and difficult day, (I decided that God wanted to make it up to me) he slept for 9 hours straight. Unfortunately I kept waking to check on him because it is so uncharacteristic, but quickly fell back asleep after seeing that he was fine. (Checking on him is so easy because I have a video monitor thanks to my husband's family). Today has been a bit better but still a little difficult. I'm sure it will pass and he will be happy again someday. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

Babies are hard Kim, but I am sure you are doing a great job. Having Corbin threw me for a loop. But I promise it does get better. And it is ok to have hard days and to feel like you can't handle it. I still feel that way. You probably just need more sleep, and he will eventually sleep through the night. Reading your scriptures can really help when you are having a bad day.
